A handy place to stay before or after visiting the Redwoods National and State Parks, since the hotel is so close to the airport. They can get you to the airport almost right away when you ask, even if you're arriving or leaving late. Our room temperature controls worked well, and the Wi-Fi and water were fine. The room and shared spaces were clean and kept up. Breakfast was fine for these days, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I came away impressed with this Holiday Inn.

What made this stay stand out was the service. My wife and I were grateful for how well the staff looked after us, and everyone we met was consistently great, across both day and night shifts and from our first day through the last. Special thanks to O'brion for going above and beyond. I can't speak for anyone else's experience, but ours was the best customer service I've ever had. I usually talk about the location, amenities, and food, but hotels tend to be similar on those points. Consistency is why I often choose Holiday Inn Express, and even my least good experience has generally been okay. If there were a sixth star, I'd give it for the service here. 👍🏾👍🏾 Keep it up, guys!

A good base for visiting the different redwood parks. The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly, and the pool and hot tub were nice. Breakfast was very good, with hot options and cinnamon rolls.

The breakfast was delicious, way above average for a continental breakfast. Housekeeping did an awesome job, and the room was spotless and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our great stay at Holiday Inn Express. I'd definitely come back.

The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable, and breakfast was acceptable. The daytime front desk staff were pleasant. But we found ants and spiders in the room. When the toilet backed up, we were told to come get a plunger. I was appalled that guests were expected to plunge a backed-up toilet.
