The recurring elevator reliability problems affect residents every day, and I hope management commits to a lasting repair rather than a temporary fix. In the future, a mobile app for calling elevators and accessing apartments digitally would be a useful quality-of-life improvement, removing the need for a physical key fob or access device. Many modern residential buildings are moving that way. The rest of Vita Tysons Corner is excellent. Its location gives unbeatable access to shopping, dining, and transit, the apartments are thoughtfully designed and maintained, and the leasing and management staff are friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. Those three areas deserve five out of five. Thank you, and God bless you and your family 😊

The staff have always been great, and there are lots of things I'll miss: the gym, pool, lounges, and being able to walk from the plaza to the metro and mall. The building has some of my favorite views of Tysons, plus 24/7 security and concierge most days. Security did a good job keeping random people out, and the concierge was handy for packages. Still, for the price, I'm not sure it's worth it. A lot of things have gone wrong during our time here. The gym AC didn't work when we moved in, so it was too hot and humid to use. Half the lounge TVs or their wall controllers didn't work when we tried them. The elevator issues are the biggest daily frustration. They often seem to have only one or two working, and I've been late to work and to drop my kid at school. Several elevators went down and were repaired, but one is still out as I write this. There have also been pipe bursts, one in the stairwell that flooded several floors and one in the parking garage during winter. Staff fixed those quickly, repaired walls, and evacuated apartments when needed. The parking garage pipe was handled quickly too. If you have an electric car, there are just two chargers for residents, so expect to compete for them. They should add at least 8-10 more. Depending on when you get back, you might only be able to charge once every week or two. The property has a lot to offer and great people working there. I hope they sort out the amenities, add charging spots, and get the elevators under control. Everything else is great, which is why I still give it four stars.

Tae's hospitality stood out right from the start. He greeted us with four bottles of water and a tray of assorted snacks, a thoughtful welcome that made us feel comfortable. I have a child with ASD, and even my child noticed how kind and welcoming Tae was. Last Friday, Samantha gave us an excellent tour of VITA Apartments. She was pleasant and professional, chatted naturally, answered our questions thoroughly, and made the visit enjoyable. I've toured several luxury communities, but she made a particularly strong impression. The care from both Tae and Samantha showed the kind of professionalism you'd hope for in a luxury community. VITA sets a high bar for welcoming prospective residents.

The gym is still a sauna, and the elevator problems keep dragging on. Staff at Vita are generally polite, but living here has been a nightmare. Gables Residential sells it as high-end, yet it feels like a neglected dorm. The only luxury is the price. The gym AC was broken for most of 2025, with temperatures often in the high 70s and 80s. Halfway through 2026 it still hadn't changed. This morning it was 77°F inside while it was a crisp 63°F outdoors (photo attached). Management knows about the mechanical failure but has locked the patio doors, removing the only natural ventilation and blocking points of egress. Exercising in a humid, sealed room like that is uncomfortable, a health hazard, and a major liability. Elevators are another constant frustration. There are five for more than 30 floors, but often only 1-2 are running. Residents can wait 5-10 minutes, then a full elevator arrives and people have to squeeze in or wait another 10. For residents with mobility issues, who have no other way around the building, this is a safety hazard. The soundproofing near the gym is awful. I've been woken at 1:00 AM by heavy, repeated thuds from dropped weights that shake my whole apartment. Management put up quiet signs instead of installing the sound-deadening floors or materials you'd expect in a real luxury building. And the upkeep is disgusting. The attached photo of the 3rd-floor elevator lobby shows old, obvious dog urine stains all over the carpet. For the prices here, the lack of basic cleaning and hygiene is revolting. Don't let the lobby decor fool you. Luxury should mean working climate control and elevators, plus a clean building. Vita fails on all of them.

I asked Gables management ahead of time to confirm a scheduled appointment so I could plan around it, but never got a reply. A brand-new air filter outside my door was removed without anyone telling me, so I can only assume my email was seen and ignored. More troubling, someone entered my locked unit without confirmed permission, even though I'd clearly said entry had to be arranged around my work schedule. No appointment was confirmed. Residents deserve clear communication and respect for their privacy!!!!!!!!
