The Crawford Suite

We felt completely at home and comfortable at Highland Guesthouse, and the sheets and bedding were extremely clean. Our room had a soft-topped bed with a firm mattress and memory foam pillows. The shower pressure was fantastic, and the updated room and bathroom had modern conveniences, including free WiFi and strong AC that kept the bedroom nice and cold. Shane and his family lovingly restored the property while keeping its historic feel, with original wood floors and details. Highly recommended.

Shane was waiting for me when I arrived close to 9 at night, so I could check in. Awesome young man! The rooms were beautiful, and the neighborhood was very quiet. It's cheaper than a hotel room and only a few blocks from the hospital. I'd recommend staying here to anyone, and I might come back even without a loved one in the hospital.

The old player piano was a highlight, and Shane was friendly and helped carry our bags. We're musicians and had a lot of instruments to bring in overnight, so that help meant a lot. The house is lovely, the room was comfortable, and we slept really well. I only wish we could've stayed longer. Thanks, Shane, for the local soap, candle, and cookies!

The owners were wonderful, and we really enjoyed our time here. It's a gorgeous historic house that's been redone to make modern living comfortable. Quaint Meadville made a perfect backdrop for the picturesque stay. This was wonderful, and if I could give it more than five stars, I would.
