After the second request, housekeeping finally came the next day, which is what the sign says will happen. We’d asked for shampoo and conditioner both times, but neither was replenished, and apparently housekeeping was the only way to get more. We didn’t have two more days to wait. Also, correcting what I wrote earlier, the $10 per night was a temporary hold, not a fee. The desk employee never explained that and said he needed a card “to charge” $10 per night. Most mornings we were jolted awake by banging, stomping, doors slamming, and furniture being dragged. Our key cards stopped working randomly more than once, and the internet kept disconnecting, with a hassle getting it back. This was an awful stay, and I won’t come back. The room itself was really nice, but there were too many extra charges and hassles. The internet was awful unless you paid $5 a day for full speed. We chose the free option and then couldn’t change our minds, even after forgetting the network and reconnecting. The desk said they couldn’t help. Breakfast was just okay, and the coffee tasted like Dollar Store coffee. I much prefer the Holiday Inn Express, which is a much better stay.

Of all the places we stayed on the way through southern Oregon, Homewood Suites in Medford had the best breakfast service. It felt like a second home, thanks to the incredible staff. Connie, Tammy, Evelyn, Owen, and Connor looked after us like family. I know there were other great people too, but I’m bad with names and don’t want to guess. Housekeeping was friendly as well. Two thumbs way up!

The rooms have lots of space for families, especially with kids, and the staff were great with guests. Connor and Randon at the front desk were helpful and communicative, and Connor was always smiling. I do wish they had pet-free rooms for guests with allergies, but it’s a perfect family hotel overall. 😊😊😊

Jan 14, 2026: We came back and found out Wednesdays include a soup and salad bar with complimentary wine and beer. Such a nice surprise! The key card machine was acting up, but the young man dealt with it professionally while a line was forming. The woman in the food area was very personable and made people feel welcome. Oct 24, 2025: Love this hotel. The service was wonderful and our room was quite large. I’m giving it four out of five because the bed wasn’t comfortable for me. Also, there was a french fry on the elevator carpet when I arrived at 6pm, and it was still there when I left for my flight 12 hours later.
