There’s pretty hot water and decent cable TV, but bring shower shoes. The man at the desk was nice enough, and the room smelled clean when I walked in. It has a nice bed and a recently redone shower, but that’s about it. I tried using the microwave and couldn’t open the door to get my food out. Unplugging it and plugging it back in fixed that. There were black hairs all over the tray with the ice box, and long curly black hairs on the towels, comforter, and pillowcases. One bedside lamp worked, but the other didn’t, and there was a nightstand on only one side. I also noticed there’s no dresser for clothes or personal things. It’ll do for one night, but unless I really needed to be in the area and couldn’t spare another $80, I wouldn’t recommend it. Even then, I wouldn’t book more than one night without checking the room first. Sorry for putting so much in the review, but I hope it helps someone. A little background: I gave birth five days ago, and my baby has been in the NICU since the first night. We were transferred to strong memorial today. I have no doubt the medical attention there will be top tier, but it isn’t family friendly. There are only a few regular chairs that don’t recline, and they told us they’re so packed with babies and families that they don’t know when they can bring us a recliner or sofa bed, or when we might get into the Ronald McDonald House. My husband thought I could use a real shower and a full night’s sleep in a proper bed. Since we’re out of work and stuck here over an hour from home, he looked for the cheapest hotel closest to the hospital.

Everyone working here, including the managers, was really nice. I was in a tough place mentally and needed somewhere to stay where I could get what I needed to cope. One really nice guy who works here tried to charge my phone for me and even offered me a ride home if his car hadn’t been broken down. The room had towels, a bath, cups, and bedding, and there was hot coffee in the lobby.

The app had technical problems, so I was directed to book at Econo lounge instead. That meant paying for a place I hadn't wanted in the first place. I reserved three nights with my fiancé, but after the first night I'm leaving two days early, even though there are no changes or refunds. I understand why now: I wanted to walk back out as soon as I entered. I took photos of the mold and pubic hairs, and the receptionist was rude. When we came back to our room after a long day, a family member of hers was covered with a blanket in the lobby. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone, not even my worst enemy. I'll never book through that app again. A bad experience, and an expensive lesson.

The room was in rough shape, with flooring coming up and part of the ceiling falling down. The AC didn't work either. We booked a King room but got a Queen bed instead, and the pillows were so flat we had to go buy ones to use. The front desk staff was rude. I'd tell travelers to stay somewhere else. Only book here if you're desperate.
