The location is handy, just across the railroad tracks from Medora. It feels like a break from town, but you’re less than a minute away, and you could walk to a coffee shop. Our group’s rooms were all clean and tidy, with no odd smells. Staff were helpful and attentive. The pool room was roomy and well kept, with a nice L-shaped hot tub. We also liked the quiet, cozy breakfast room and its good selection. We’ll definitely return. :)

We’d definitely stay here again if we’re in the area, and I’d recommend it to others. Service was excellent, and our large room was very clean. It also had a nice hot tub. We never ran out of hot water, despite what some other reviews said.

I stayed an extra night so I could explore more of the state park hiking, since I felt safe at the hotel. The staff’s willingness to go above and beyond is unusual to find these days, and breakfast was enjoyable too. Manager Samantha was especially helpful and the staff were friendly and professional. The room was older, but clean and just what I needed.

We used this as our base in September to explore the South Unit of Theodore Roosevelt Nat'l Park. The room was quiet, we slept well, breakfast was decent, and the staff were friendly. Everything matched what the website described, making for a pleasant stay. I did think it was rather pricey, though I suppose the location a few minutes from the park entrance and the busy season explain some of that.
