The staff were really kind, and when the place was full they offered me one of the efficiency apartments downstairs. It was clean, but the musty smell was awful. You could see old water damage, and there wasn't any hot water. We tried candles and Lysol, but the smell still lingered. There was only coffee and snacks, no breakfast. I can't speak to the regular rooms, but I wouldn't stay in one of the downstairs apartments again.

The rooms were clean and the atmosphere was quiet. I came in from Missouri because of a family emergency, and the staff were incredibly accommodating about which days I needed to stay and which I didn't. They treated me like family. Thanks again, Gateway Inn. I'd recommend it again and again.

We've stayed here several times and plan to keep coming back. There's plenty of safe parking, and the rooms are clean, renovated, and comfortable. The lobby has a rustic Maine feel, the service is fantastic, and it's affordable. Plus, it's very close to I-95.

A great little stop in the woods, and the price was very good. The A/C worked well, and there was a nice deck off the second floor at the back. The rooms were clean. I'd stay here again.

The staff were very friendly, and the room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, though there wasn't much in the way of luxury. Since the Inn is right off the highway, it worked well for a quick overnight stop on the way to our final destination. I'd recommend it.
