We came back to visit the oceanfront home where our late grandparents lived, a place we'd visited since childhood, and it brought back so many lovely memories. The resort itself has beautiful grounds, faces the ocean, and was very clean. The staff were friendly.

The beach access and views really are amazing, but I left disappointed and wouldn't choose to stay here again. It was hard to rest: there are no bedroom curtains, so outdoor lights shine into the rooms and can't be switched off. The bedding is just a sheet and a very thin cotton layer, which didn't feel resort-like. Outside was loud too. Something on the roof made a foghorn noise all night, and people at the pool woke me at 7 every morning. The rooms have lots of space, but the bathrooms don't: there was no counter space or shower shelving, so I had to set my makeup bag on the toilet. I called the front desk several times and nobody answered.

The deck looking out over the beach and ocean is lovely, and the pool is large and well cared for. My room was clean and comfortable, with a modern feel that still felt cozy. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I love this little place by the ocean and would recommend it.

Such a nice surprise. The rooms have been renovated, feel comfortable, and are close to the beach. Service was warm, and the staff were great. Simple beachfront magic.

The spacious suite and easy access to the beach made our stay at Melbourne Beach Resort & Surf Club in August one of the best parts of our trip. Falling asleep to the ocean was magical, and we saw sea turtles nesting. The sunrise views were breathtaking, with real Florida vibes. We can't wait to return.
