Marriott Melville Long Island

My wife and I live on Long Island and chose this place for an early Valentine’s Day. The room was set up in such a cute way that it made the occasion feel special. The staff were quick to help whenever they could, and we only wish we’d stayed longer to try more of what the hotel offers. It’s modern, up to date, and extremely clean, with a beautiful, spacious lobby and pool. I’ve always stayed at Hyatts, but this experience may have made me a Marriott customer for life. Thank you!

I stayed here twice, three days each time. It’s a nice, newly renovated hotel, and all the plants indoors give it a good vibe 😍. The bed is comfortable, the pool is a good size, and there’s plenty of parking. Breakfast in the M lounge was okay, while the restaurant food was better.

The inside rooms have little privacy because the whole floor shares a balcony, and the design feels poorly thought out. On weekends, drunk guests gather in the atrium and their voices echo through the hotel, making it impossible to sleep. The hotel dealt with the noise, but only three hours after quiet hours began.

Having a good leader makes a difference. There was a mistake on my company’s end with the reservation when I checked in, and Cora, the Melville Marriott manager, sorted it out quickly and skillfully. She’s an outstanding manager. Thank you.
