The one bright spot was the concierge, a nice young woman who was helpful and good at her job. The rest of the room left a bad impression. Ants were all over the dresser and table, and the place felt generally unclean once I looked more closely. The tub looked dirty, and after I cleaned it, I confirmed it was. It also drained so slowly that a ten-minute shower left water above my ankles. The bed was mediocre, sunken in and in need of replacement or at least flipping. My room door was open when I got there. I don't know if that's hotel policy, but it made me uneasy. I've stayed in some bad hotels, and this is one of them. I'd give it less than one star if I could. Avoid unless you're okay with unsavory conditions.

Hot water never got hot, and the shower drained slowly. The floors and carpet were dirty or old, the bathrooms were small, and the vanity took up too much space in the bedroom. They still use old air conditioners instead of wall-mounted thermostats. The gates around the property were secured with padlocks on both sides, and there was on-site security. Stairs leading up to the lobby and elevators made it hard to handle large bags. For such a convenient location near the airport, this was a huge disappointment. The place was gross, and I wouldn't recommend it. I'll ask that my company remove it from its recommended list.

The staff are exceptional, and I love this hotel. I was placed here on Swift's behalf and wouldn't choose to stay anywhere else. They're renovating while still operating, though the loud banging early in the morning made it hard to sleep. The toilet pressure was very low, so toilets clogged easily. Aside from those issues, it's a great hotel.

I'd read mixed reviews before booking, but the place was a pleasant surprise. The room was a beautiful, clean standard king, the bed was very comfortable, and everything was immaculate. The lobby was clean and the staff greeted us warmly. The only snag was a missing shower curtain. I told the front desk, and they came up to put one in straight away.
