Fair View Inn & Suites

We'd wanted a relaxing night before our FedEx pickup, so my husband and I, both truck drivers, booked a room advertised with a jacuzzi tub. It cost $180 for the night, which felt high, but the manager let us look at the room before paying, and we appreciated that. We only checked that it matched the photos and had the tub, then paid and moved in. The room was dated, but we were willing to make the best of it. The toilet's push button only worked if the tank lid was positioned just right. A couple of hours later I asked for two extra towels for the hot tub. The attendant said he'd put two in the shower. I explained those would be used for showering and wouldn't be dry for the next morning, but he said two was all he could give me. That was when I decided to write this. There were burn holes in the comforter, the tub's cold water handle was rigged up, and there were two old wall AC units and computer chairs for extra seating. At $180, I felt I should have gotten more towels, even eight, and maybe a free night next time. I was trying to keep quiet and pay their light bill, but this place felt like a hole in the wall. Definitely not worth it, and I won't be back. Really, no stars.
