Sleep Inn & Suites

I was stuck here for work, otherwise I would've paid twice as much for somewhere better. Easily one of the worst US hotels I've stayed in over 20 years. The whole fifth floor smelled like weed from other guests, and my first room there couldn't be used. I don't know that the second room was much better. Mold was all over the walls, inside the cabinet and drawers, on the lampshades, curtains, and seating. It clearly hadn't been properly cleaned in a long time, with splatters that looked like food and dried blood on the walls and doors. The bed was cheap enough that I could feel the springs, and the air unit under the window didn't work. Bedding and towels were the only things that seemed clean enough to touch. The walls are paper thin, so I woke up to my neighbor vomiting for half an hour. The location is bad, and the parking lot didn't feel safe. The way this place is run shows how much the owners cut corners and how little they care about cleanliness or doing things right. I'd give it negative stars if I could.

The staff had a nasty attitude, and the hotel was filthy. First room had a dirty shower, hair in the tub, and clothes left in the dresser. When I complained about a smell, they told me to leave. The replacement room had roaches and dirty bedding. I asked for corporate's number and was told there wasn't one. Management here is awful. If you need somewhere to stay, your car is cleaner. Don't book here under any circumstances.

In daylight it looks like a 2-3 star motel, but after dark you'd be better off at the truck stop. This place is only for someone too exhausted to drive another 10 miles. My booking was non-refundable, or I would've cancelled. It didn't feel secure: there was drug use, loitering, and dealing in the parking lot. Dealers and sex workers could get onto the property and wander the lobby and floors. My toilet wouldn't flush. I called the front desk several times, but the phones were off the hook. When I went down, they said they'd send someone, but three hours later it still wasn't fixed. I asked the clerk for a plunger and fixed it myself. People were passed out in the hallways by the first and second floor elevators where the plunger was. A sex worker knocked on my fifth floor door asking if I needed anything that night. I didn't answer. The shower shampoo had blue dye in the cap and turned my hands blue. Someone urinated on my rental car door, and I had to get it washed off before returning it at 5am. Third-party booking sites, do better and stop listing this property.

This place reeks, and cleaning clearly isn't a priority. I watched someone mop with plain water and no cleaner. I wanted to buy some cleaning products myself and mop our room so it wouldn't smell like dirty bodies. The carpets are brown, and the bed covers were dirty. Nasty.
