Park Place

Check-in was quick, and the front desk staff were nice. They even let me in about 15 minutes early. I also liked the shower products, similar to what Four Points usually has, and the large lot with free parking. I paid about $100, which seems in line with how cheap-looking the place is. The room was hot when I arrived, so I turned on the AC, but it stayed warm for a while. The furniture looks dated, as if they aimed for a classic style and missed. Floors were okay, though they need a deeper clean. Housekeeping seems rushed. I bring my own Lysol and spray the things I plan to touch, sit on, or put my stuff on. The bathroom is the biggest letdown. No trash can liner, no ventilation fan, and the sink and tub need updating. It all feels neglected. The overall decor is disappointing too, with rough paint and a remodel that looks like an old hotel was repainted and rebranded by Marriott a long time ago. It doesn't seem recent, and the work looks rushed. It feels too cheap for the price, which should be about half as much. I don't think breakfast is served here.

The staff were so friendly, and I really enjoyed my visit. The room was comfortable, though the sink and tub drained very slowly. Kitchen staff were especially kind and attentive.

We were there for three nights with our group. The location was easy to get to, and the staff were really friendly. They also had an Elf on the Shelf tucked away somewhere and cookies out at night.

For $100 a night, this is a safe, reasonably located, inexpensive place that I don't think can be beat. I've stayed more than once. It is dated, and sometimes you can smell weed, which isn't too shocking. The staff are lazy, though you can't expect a lot at this price. Still, not a bad property.
