Studio 6 Suites Memphis, TN – East Memphis

It's fairly quiet, and the beds are comfortable. The rooms have a good amount of space and full-size fridges. Dogs are allowed, but you need to let them know ahead of time.

My son and I felt comfortable here, and we're grateful for that. The staff and housekeeping were warm and willing to help, and the property has surveillance and locked doors with staff keeping an eye on things. Our room was clean, updated, and roomy, with a full fridge, coffee maker, and microwave. Stores and food are within walking distance. I travel a lot, and this place exceeded what we expected. It's a hidden gem. Thank you.

I ended up with a king room that had been used for smoking, with burn holes in the sheets and an air conditioner that barely worked. I even took the filters out and washed them in the tub. I'd booked and paid online through booking.com for a non-smoking king room, but when I arrived they said I needed to pay a $50 cash deposit. I wasn't willing to do that, so this is what I got.

My wife, daughter, and I checked in and found dirty sheets on the bed and an unclean toilet and bathroom. The front desk was rude and wouldn't listen when we complained. Another woman there was reporting roaches and said they gave her a hard time too. We were moved to another room, then woke up to water leaking through the ceiling. Getting a refund was difficult as well. I've reported this filthy motel to the Shelby County Health Department, and I suggest others do the same. I have pictures as proof.
