The staff made this stay. They were about as good as you could hope for, and in tense situations they helped me feel safe and protected. Thanks so much. Facilities were also good for the most part, around 99% of what I could ask for. A drawer my son accidentally broke has been inconvenient for longer than I'd hoped, and someone really should vacuum the bathroom ceiling vents.

We stayed two nights with the kids while visiting family in St Cloud, and the whole place felt clean and safe. Every staff member was friendly and helpful, and they were especially kind to the kids, listening as they talked about how much fun they were having. There was a good range of grab-and-go breakfast options and vending machine snacks. We'll stay here again next time we're in town.

The price and airport location were good, though be ready for planes passing right overhead. The room had plenty of problems: the bathroom smelled like urine, the vinyl plank floor felt sticky, and the TV remote didn't work. The wall had drywall rubbed off where the chair kept hitting it, which made the place seem short on maintenance and care. At the desk, the guy asked whether my card had been charged because he couldn't tell and didn't want to charge me twice. I said it had.

Once we got into the room, there was damage everywhere. The handle on the door was stuck in an unlatched position, the walls were dented and scuffed, and the bathroom door had impact marks around it, like someone may have had to force their way in. The chair was torn, the bedspread stained and ripped, there was greasy-looking residue on the walls, and nearly all the decor was damaged or stained with who knows what. Outside, the lot was full of huge patches of ice. It looked like nobody had plowed all winter, which didn't inspire confidence in management. This was nothing like I expected. I use ESA for work all the time and thought this would be fine for a quick holiday trip home. The manager emailed that I'd get a refund, but it never came through. We had to book another hotel down the freeway near the MOA. I'd suggest doing that.
