Fairfield Inn & Suites Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport

Sam checked me in quickly and was very friendly. Everyone I met was helpful, and Sophie the manager came across as both welcoming and attentive to guests and staff. Freddy was always replenishing breakfast, cleaning up, and greeting people. The breakfast itself was marvelous. The Fairfield Inn & Suites at Mendota Heights was also a great fit for getting to the airport. My room was clean and comfortable, and the price was good. I didn't try the cookies, but it was a nice touch to be greeted with them. I plan to stay again.

Our flight was canceled, so we ended up staying another 24 hours while we rebooked. We were safe and comfortable, and the staff did a lot to make things easier with a smile. Sam was especially kind when he saw how disappointed we were, bringing out freshly made cookies and handling our changes efficiently. We've stayed here several times and have appreciated the park and ride before, but this was our first time trying breakfast. Thank you!

Priscilla and Sam at the front desk are wonderful! I've stayed here many times because the staff make it feel like home. They always have coffee ready for guests, which is such a nice thing. It's a welcoming, safe hotel.

Parking was a mess. The lot is tiny, and the park-and-fly cars stay there until their owners return, leaving people passing through scrambling for a space. We were told to park on the street or in reserved handicapped spots. If you do find a space, watch for the potholes, some are about five inches deep. A business offering park and fly really needs a separate lot for those travelers. The room itself raised questions too. We found a dirty shirt left by the previous guests, so we weren't sure it had been cleaned thoroughly. The front desk offered a small discount and bonus rewards points when we reported it, but didn't seem particularly concerned. The shower also drained poorly, leaving standing water in the tub. The location is okay, like most places in the area, but the stay was very disappointing. I wouldn't recommend it or stay again.
