The gardens have turned into muddy puddles because of overwatering, and we can’t walk on the grass or enjoy the green areas. I’ve contacted the management office several times, but they don’t seem interested in helping. It feels like they don’t care about wasting water because residents are charged for it. I’m also worried the trees’ roots will rot from all the water. Their response is that a smart irrigation system adjusts watering to the weather, but it seems broken and not nearly as smart as they think. We pay high rent, yet residents seem to be left on their own and ignored. The damp ground has also caused my dog to have paw allergies. I’m spending money on vet care for a problem that didn’t exist 10 months ago. Who will take responsibility? In response to management: you walked the grounds with me and saw the serious lawn flooding. This wasn’t happening 6 months ago, so I don’t believe the trees or hill are the cause. The problem is overwatering. Yesterday I sent new photos, which I’m adding to this post, showing the excess from the “smart irrigation” system. I don’t understand why you accept the contractors’ assurance that everything is fine when you saw with your own eyes that it isn’t. As I said when I looked it up yesterday, I’m not paying this high rent for our tiny apartment alone. I’m paying for amenities for my children and dog, but we can’t enjoy the muddy green areas, and my dog now has a severe allergy from the damp grass. Please check the “smart irrigation” system. It doesn’t seem as smart as you were told, or change providers. The excess water damages the gardens, the planet, and residents’ finances, since we pay for that water. I hope this is fixed soon. As I said, this wasn’t happening 6 months ago, so I believe it’s caused by people overwatering, not nature. Just look at the pictures, they speak for themselves.

I lived here for 3 years and had a great experience. It’s a peaceful, family-oriented community in a safe neighborhood where I felt comfortable walking even at night. Safeway, CVS, and Starbucks are right next to the apartments, which was really convenient. The walls are thin, but on the 3rd floor you’re unlikely to hear much unless maintenance is working on the roof, and that doesn’t happen often. I’d recommend this place, especially for families with kids or anyone looking for a clean, quiet, safe neighborhood in Silicon Valley.

Oscar showed us around the apartments and understood what we were looking for, so he picked the ones that fit our needs. We haven’t made a decision yet, but the apartment looked good.

After living at Sharon Green Apartments for several years, I came to value Kimberly as one of the leasing agents who stood out most.
