Executive Inn Mercedes

We’re staying here for a few days, and hopefully longer, while we look for work and a home. Please pray that we don’t end up homeless. I’m deaf, DA.

After driving 1000 miles, I broke down when we arrived and saw the condition of the whole property. It looked really dirty, and the pool clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Yuck.

People were loud in the parking lot all night, and the room had a moldy smell. The furniture was shaky and falling apart, and the shower wouldn’t drain. The bathroom was filthy, with hair in the toilet, while the towels and sheets were stained and had hair on them. This was the worst hotel I’ve stayed at. The service needs major improvement, and in my opinion the place should be shut down.

I’ve rented here all my life, but bringing my kids this time was the worst experience. After we’d been there two days, the first time we went to the pool, the lady Rosa rudely kicked us out around 12pm. She said there were too many people in our two-bedroom room, even though it was just the four of us and my parents. When we asked for our money back, she tried to apologize. Then we asked for towels, and she said the lady had gone for the day, so we got no damn towels. I’ve never been kicked out of anything with my kids like that. I live in Dallas, and we don’t get treated that way.
