The lake views were a highlight, and we appreciated having coffee and drinks available for free. Breakfast was tasty and had a cozy feel. Samantha greeted us warmly and let us check in early since we reached the lake sooner than planned. We had a great weekend here and would love to come back in the fall for peak foliage.

The pillows were so comfortable, and the food was both delicious and healthy. Everything was very clean, and the hosts made us feel welcome. It was a fantastic stay!

Our room was roomy and comfortable, and the breakfast was really good. The Inn Keeper was attentive throughout our stay. I loved how cozy and beautiful the Inn felt. I only wish there were more hooks for hanging things. Otherwise, I’d choose the Ballard again every time.

We had a small but quaint room, and the mountain views out back were lovely. It’s a short distance from Meredith Bay and the Gilford music venue. The home-cooked breakfast was a nice bonus, and the new owner was friendly and helpful. This historic inn has plenty of charm. I’d suggest updating the bedding, especially the pillows, and adding a gel mattress topper. We’d definitely visit again.

The view from the back deck is spectacular, and the common sitting rooms are cozy and lovely. Darryl was a gracious, friendly host, and his family members who work with him were wonderful too. Our room was clean and great, and breakfast was delicious. A fantastic vacation spot in the Lake Winnipesaukee area.
