We came for The Pond Hockey Classic in winter and loved our stay. The owners and their family were such a delight, and breakfast was delicious. It was easy to imagine lingering there forever, with the fire going and all that history and charm around us. A classic Old New England inn, warm and cozy from the moment you step inside.

We came back to the Nutmeg for a second stay and felt at home right away again. It’s so peaceful there, and a great base for day trips. The homemade bread and granola at breakfast are spectacular. Karen and Kevin really know how to make a visit memorable.

There are comfortable spots indoors and out to relax, play pool or other games, or just enjoy being outside. The homemade breakfasts were delicious, and the innkeepers were friendly and attentive. It’s only a five-minute drive to beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee and charming downtown Meredith. I highly recommend the historic inn, and I’ll be back.

We stayed in the Sugar Shack and absolutely loved it. The grounds were lovely, and the pool area looked so inviting. I do wish we’d taken a swim, but we sat out there late at night and stargazed instead. It was incredible. Karen and Kevin are the best part of the place, so warm and hospitable, and their home-cooked breakfast was incredible. I’d give the Nutmeg Inn more than five stars if I could!

The owners were welcoming, warm, and happy to accommodate us. We loved the beautiful room and the delicious breakfast, and everything about our stay felt just right. If you’re headed to New Hampshire, stay at the Nutmeg Inn!
