Hampton Inn Meridian

I spent four days at this Hampton and really enjoyed the stay. Everyone I dealt with was positive, and the young woman who checked me in was efficient and courteous. The room was nice, and the bed was fairly comfortable, though the pillows were a little too soft for my taste. Breakfast wasn’t fancy, but it was a nice start to the day. For what you get, the price is hard to beat if you’re staying in Meridian.

The room was clean, comfortable, and great, and breakfast had lots of choices with fresh hot food. The late-evening employees were a bit difficult: they had an attitude and weren’t very helpful. The morning team, though, was amazing, friendly, and polite. I’ll stay here again.

The room we’d picked wasn’t ready, so the front desk moved us to one on the first floor. It was very clean, smelled fresh, and had a comfortable bed, good water pressure, and hot water. The outside was tidy, and the lobby entrance was clean and smelled nice. I’d been nervous after reading a few recent reviews, but I’m pretty loyal to Hampton Inns, so we kept our reservation. The hotel is easy to get on and off the highway. We didn’t try breakfast, so I can’t comment on that. I’d stay again if I’m in the area.

Breakfast was very good, with lots of food to choose from, and the morning staff were friendly and nice. There are lots of good restaurants nearby, and the area felt very safe. I’d still recommend it. My room had clean rugs and no smell, and the bed and linens were very clean. There was no hair dryer by the bathroom sink, and the mirror wasn’t very clean. At check-in, the staff didn’t pay much attention to the customer and seemed to be talking among themselves, with the radio sounding like part of the conversation. They did still do their job.
