They let us look at the room before we checked in, which was nice. It was very clean, the sheets smelled good, and customer service was good. A few spots had been missed and the tub was chipped, but the rest was fine. Breakfast had a nice selection. I’d definitely stay again.

The stay was okay, but I wouldn’t recommend it. We were there for about three days to visit family. The rooms were basic and quiet, but we weren’t given Wi-Fi service. The ice machine didn’t work: I heard it try to move ice the first time, but nothing came out, and the next time it was completely silent. A woman said it had already been broken and a handyman was scheduled to look at it. Breakfast was quite basic. There was a waffle maker, muffins, bagels, yogurt, juice, cereal, coffee, and water, but we’d hoped for eggs and bacon. At the front desk, an older white man sat staring at us without greeting or welcoming us. He seemed so odd that I wondered if he might have a mental disability. They charged an incidental fee, and we had to ask several times before someone explained it was like insurance in case of damage, with a refund within five days after checkout if they saw fit.

We stayed here for a few weeks while my boyfriend worked in the area. The bed was visibly covered with crumbs, hair, and dirt, and it was obvious the sheets hadn’t been changed from the previous guest. We had to ask for fresh sheets twice when we first arrived. I’d never had a problem with anyone else there, but the girl at the front desk was incredibly rude to both of us today. After staying several times and spending all that money, you’d think we’d be treated with a little respect. We’re just glad we don’t have to come back.

The building needs serious maintenance and updates. Our room was hot when we arrived, and the air conditioner was difficult to get going. Its external thermostat seemed useless, both dials on the unit were broken, and even after we got it on, it barely cooled the room. The vanity light switch was broken, so those lights didn’t work. Neither of the ice machines, on floors one and three, worked. All three vending machines were out of bottled water, which was a problem because we were afraid to drink the tap water. They had vending machines on each floor, but no cots or other way to accommodate an extra traveler. One of the worst hotels we’ve stayed in.
