The room itself was simple but nice: two clean double beds, bright orange bedspread, swept carpet, a good smelling bathroom, polished and dusted furniture, and clean white sheets with fluffy pillows. We checked under the covers and ran a white glove over things. It felt clean and comfortable, though not at the level of the Waldorf Austria, Hilton, or Rita Carlton. The air conditioning could be adjusted from cool to cold, and there was a small fridge and microwave. It was easy to warm popcorn or have a meal and watch a movie. I could see staying extra days. Sleeping there felt sweet, like heaven, and like being at home away from home. It’s an affordable, attractive place with a great atmosphere. You can ask to see the room before paying, but you need to call first, then come to the front desk in person. They’ll walk you to it so you can look before paying a cent. Once you’re satisfied, you pay for the nights you and your loved ones plan to stay. Ms. Tell answered the phone very kindly. I told here what I was dealing with, and she said to come over at the 3 pm check-in time and offered me a discount. When we arrived, she was at the glass section and said she’d be right with us. She returned with linen and a key so we could inspect the room, then walked us to the second building. I asked if she needed help, and she was gracious and kind. She was expecting a baby, and said she was seven moth along. We remarked that her belly was tiny and that she seemed fit from walking up and down the stairs. Anyway, back to looking at the room. I prayed it would pass my inspection, and it did. The place felt very protected, with double and triple heavy duty glass. I’m stopping here to pay the rent and get some rest. The next episode will reveal what’s really going on in the community. Here to your success. See you soon, hit me up and comment below with your experience at the Knight Inn and Suites in Merriville, Indiana, USA. Stay tuned, same station and time in your own time zone. Beam me up. Let’s do this. Go check it out, follow the about recipe and tell it. We want to know.

I asked to see the room, and that part was easy. It smelled really nasty and the bed was dirty. The sign said you have 15 minutes to get a refund. At the desk, the guy was talking through a hole. When I asked if the place was safe, he said it was cold out and they weren’t letting me in. That sounded like a reason to keep the front door open, so he opened it. This place should be closed down. Stay away.

They claim to allow dogs, but they don’t. They lied about it.

The room was really dirty, from the floors and walls to the AC unit, bedding and tub. I spent 20 minutes there picking up my friend in the morning and felt dirty myself. I’ve attached photos. Management employs disabled people, but the housekeeping staff clearly must be BLIND. I booked a king room for my friend. At check-in they demanded an undisclosed $30 no-smoking deposit, then offered “two beds okay,” as if two small beds were a reasonable swap for the one big bed I’d booked. Surely not for a single 6'2 male. At checkout, the manager pressured my friend to leave a review while holding the deposit and watching him do it. That was unprofessional and shady. When I complained to the booking agency, the manager said I was lucky he hadn’t charged us for 2 adults instead of the 1 adult I booked. I said to check the cameras, since I didn’t arrive until morning to pick him up. He ignored that and carried on as though he’d been nice by not charging me for something he LIED about. I’m appalled.
