The Luxe Lagoon felt luxurious, with modern styling and up-to-date technology. Both floors had a well-kept porch, and the roomy bathrooms and showers were clean. The bed was comfortable, and the restaurant on site was convenient and tasty. We stayed just one night before our cruise the next morning. I did see a lot of black mold in the upstairs bedroom, which made me wonder what else might be hidden. The front door also gave us trouble at arrival, though a maintenance man helped us with it. It was a nice stay otherwise, and I'd come back if the mold is dealt with.

We loved it so much that we asked to add another night. Check-in was simple, everything was clean inside and out, and they shared plenty of local activity ideas and emergency numbers. In just two days we spotted manatees and over 30 dolphins, plus the bioluminescence in the water. It was magical. We'll book here again.

We were in town for my son's wedding, and our condo at Dolphins Rental was a great fit for our family of six. My son arranged a discount for the wedding guests, and the three-bedroom condo cost less than any hotel we found, with a lot more room and comfort. The property was clean and cared for, and we could watch porpoises from our balcony. The location worked especially well, right off the highway, near stores, and only five minutes from The Field Manor venue. We liked the atmosphere at the bar and restaurant, too. Ruby, the property manager, was kind, professional, and quick to answer our calls and questions. We'd book a unit again if we're back in the area.

We had a good time, and the boat worked well for one or two people. Just be sure you're looking at the right boat when you book, since ours seemed smaller than I expected. There was no ice on the property, and our boat had no freezer, so we had to buy a cooler and ice for drinks. The website could use an update.
