Residence Inn Phoenix Mesa

For around $70 a night, this was easily the best hotel we’ve had in that price range. The room had plenty of space, a microwave, a fridge, and two queen beds that were so comfortable I nearly slept through breakfast. The sheets were wide and the pillows soft. The furniture isn’t new, but it didn’t affect how comfortable or useful the room was. There were outlets everywhere, four in the bathroom, more over the table, and even one by the microwave. I’ve never stayed anywhere with so many plugs, so charging all our devices at once was easy. The parking lot was large and simple to use, and the receptionist was warm and friendly. Breakfast had a surprising amount of choice for a budget hotel: eggs, sausage, breads, cream cheese, apples, jello, several cereals, juice, coffee, tea, and make-your-own waffles. We were only here one night, but I was honestly surprised at how good the place was. The service, room, and breakfast were all fantastic for the price. A full five stars from me.

The room was clean and we loved the stay. Staff were really helpful. The elevator took soooo long going up and down, lol, but that wasn’t a big deal. If that was the only issue, they did great. We appreciate the stay!

We normally wouldn’t have tried La Quinta Inn, but the reviews were above average, so we gave it a go for our first stay. We loved it. The staff were wonderful, the place was clean and nicely decorated, and I especially liked the outdoor space and that dogs are allowed. Our king room was spacious and the bed was comfy. The AC made a weird noise when I set it low. The shower only had three settings, and they hit my ear because I’m not tall.

The hotel was clean and the room had lots of space. We needed extra towels, and a housekeeper we stopped took care of it right away. Fair price, and a solid team at the desk and in housekeeping. We’ll come back on our next visit.
