Starlite Motel

The rooms were very clean, and the motel was quiet and pleasant. Staff were friendly too. I didn’t spot an ice machine, but everything else was nice.

It has an older, vintage feel, and the staff seem to really care about the place. I had a wonderful stay and would especially recommend it if you’re traveling alone.

Three employees, a woman and two men, woke me at 9 a.m. before checkout and had started cleaning while I was still in bed and not dressed. It was scary. The place smelled bad, the location wasn’t good, and the service was terrible. This was the only room I could find late at night, and it was the worst place I’ve stayed.

The gentleman, the son, has been polite and really nice. But lately the owners, who are his parents, have been acting strange toward me, and I don’t know why since I come in and pay and haven’t done anything to them. They keep putting me in room 133, and I feel like they may be trying to get me to leave. I’ve stayed here off and on before, including when an older woman who worked or lived there was around. She was very rude, but they got rid of her. Maybe they don’t want my business anymore. I’ve been going elsewhere lately and will probably keep taking my business there. It’s sad.
