Woodspring Suites Mesa Chandler

My wife and I stayed at Woodspring Suites Mesa/Chandler while looking for a home, and it turned into a nightmare. If you have children, are newly sober, or need peace, don’t spend your money here. We started on the ground floor, where we regularly smelled drugs, heard domestic disputes, and listened to dogs barking nonstop. When we told staff, they offered a move, but at a higher rate. We moved to the second floor hoping it would be better, but the room above us had banging and slamming around the clock, every day. Staff said, “well they have a large dog.” They then tried to raise our rate again and move us again. I told them moving us a second time didn’t seem hospitable. The noise continued for another two weeks, until Linda, the overnight staff member, showed us pictures of the “very large dog,” which had chewed holes in the walls. They moved that guest, and we thought we’d finally get a good night’s sleep. After a long day at work, we came back to two strange men leaning on our door and yelling at the door across from us. We politely asked to get to our room and went inside. The men then broke into the room opposite ours. We told staff, who said to call the police. Assistant manager Heather stood by that room arguing with the men until police arrived. After hours with police and SWAT, and being kept from going upstairs, the guests were still there, and the men continued hanging around our door. There were many other disturbing incidents: children being beaten, dogs abandoned, drugs dealt in the parking lot, and campers left on the property for days or months. The company took no accountability. Manager Adrian is shady and a liar. He’ll be nice to you, then when he doesn’t want to be accountable, he calls the police and has people trespassed to avoid conflict. He’d rather patrol the halls and hide in the office than handle guests who are costing the property money. The place is dirty and full of crime. Take your money elsewhere.
