Comfort Inn & Suites Balch Springs - SE Dallas

After more than 20 stays here, I'd always been a responsible guest and never caused problems or damaged a room, but this time they asked me for a deposit for the first time. I'm a platinum member, and that was new to me. Then I tried to heat up food and found the microwave was in Spanish, so I had to pull up a translator app. I'm not happy about any of this, and maybe I'll switch from Choice Hotels completely.

The whole stay felt safe and comfortable, thanks to a team that really went above and beyond. The rooms were exceptionally clean and well kept, and the building and staff were amazing. One of the best hotel experiences I've had. I highly recommend it.

I called today, 10-24-25, about the bad stay last week. Mr Patel said the operator wasn't available and had no direct number. When I said I didn't trust the operator to call back, Mr Patel admitted he sometimes does and sometimes doesn't. Then he told me I didn't have to spend money there and should go somewhere else next time. I told him there was no need to be a jerk about it. He's right that I'll take my money elsewhere when I return to Dallas next year. During my 5 night visit to check out the Dallas area, things started fine, but the room wasn't serviced after my first request. I asked the front desk attendant the next night and it was serviced, but two later requests went unfulfilled. We also started short on towels and washcloths. With my wife and two daughters, two towels and two washcloths weren't enough. I asked housekeeping and the front desk three times, but they said none were available, so we had to use hand towels to wash and dry ourselves a few times.

Ravi helped us throughout our stay, always kind, friendly and professional. His service made the experience even better. We really appreciate it and will definitely return. Excellent hotel and service.
