Holiday Inn Express Metropolis by IHG

The room was spacious, clean, nicely arranged, and had good lighting. We arrived early and were allowed to check in without paying extra, which we really appreciated because we were exhausted. The staff were kind and pleasant. This was the best service, hands down. I’ll definitely use this hotel chain again.

Breakfast was fresh, had lots of variety, and there were plenty of places to sit. I especially liked how the woman serving breakfast thanked every guest for coming in that morning, even though she was the one doing all the work. That was so sweet. It’s a casual sort of hotel, but don’t let that put you off. It’s clean and quiet, the beds are comfortable, and the staff are lovely. I’d come back. Thanks for the good service, which you don’t get all that often anymore.

After a long day on the road, the pool and hot tub were a welcome place to unwind. Breakfast was excellent, with hot and cold choices, including delicious warm cinnamon rolls. The breakfast attendant thanked us for eating with her, and the day manager came by to thank us for staying. Everyone on staff was friendly. We were greeted as soon as we walked in, and the man on duty got us checked in and to our room quickly. Our King Suite was clean, spacious, and fabulous, with a jetted tub, comfortable bed, XL pillows, nice bedding, and a large TV. Everything about the hotel was fantastic. We’ll be back!

The complimentary breakfast was outstanding and totally free. There were eggs, bacon, biscuits, gravy, pancakes, and plenty more. The heated pool was nice, and the hot tub was lovely too. I slept really well in the very comfortable bed. The shower had great pressure, and they supplied good shampoo, conditioner, soap, and other basics. It’s conveniently located near the downtown casino. I highly recommend this place if you’re staying in the area!
