We stayed in Unit 219, hosted by Joseph, and the condition of the place made for a really uncomfortable stay. The location and price were reasonable, but there were too many cleanliness and maintenance problems. The building smelled unpleasant and musty. It took us almost 20 minutes to get into the unit because the entry code was wrong and nobody answered the phone. The fridge and shower had visible mold. We saw dead bugs on the walls, spiders, and roaches. The bathroom was cramped enough that we had to open the shower door to use the toilet. Its soap dispensers were broken and the shower head was rusty. Drawers, dishes, the couch, and bedding were dirty, with utensils missing. The sheets had old dried blood under a throw blanket, and what was described as "pissy sheets" underneath. The cleaning team brought replacements from the closet, but those were stained too, including marks that looked like old urine. When we raised the issues, Joseph got defensive and talked about liquor bottles instead of dealing with them. His only offer was to refund us if we left right away, which wasn’t realistic. Other problems included peeling and bubbling paint on walls and furniture, intermittent WiFi and cable, a safe that didn’t work, no running water for two hours without warning, and a microwave that heated unevenly. The unit needs a deep clean, repairs, and regular inspections. I wouldn’t recommend it until these serious problems are fixed.
