Castle Beach Resort Condo Penthouse or 1BR Direct Ocean View -just remodeled-

The location was perfect, but the stay was terrible. Cockroaches were everywhere, and the place was disgusting. Men came into our room several times without warning, and more than $2,000 worth of irreplaceable belongings were stolen. I spent my vacation filing a police report after paying a lot and expecting basic safety. Staff members kept brushing us off, and the AC didn’t work. There was nowhere else to park or get our car, but valet took at least an hour. I’ve never experienced such disorganization. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy.

I ended up booking a flight home and leaving early because I felt so uncomfortable there. My friends and I were robbed of over $2,000 in cash and personal belongings during our couple of days at the hotel. Security was no help, and we were told that camera footage from the exact time of the robbery was somehow “missing.” We didn’t feel safe at all, and the lack of accountability made it worse. The room was dirty, there were cockroaches, and getting clean towels when we needed them was nearly impossible. Between the theft and those conditions, this was one of the worst stays I’ve had. I wouldn’t recommend the place to anyone.

The rooms were clean and had loads of space for big families. The employees were super helpful and got us checked in right away. I’d recommend it if you’re looking for somewhere to stay in Miami.

This is one of the three worst places my family and I have stayed. The rooms and common areas were nasty: there were cockroaches behind our fridge, a huge dead roach under the pool chairs, and the hallways smelled of mold and marijuana smoke. The lobby staff weren’t helpful with anything beyond check-in, and they were pretty rude otherwise. I needed change for the laundry machines, but they wouldn’t break a $20 bill and there wasn’t a change machine. Definitely wouldn’t recommend it.
