Clevelander South Beach

The room was tiny, and the luggage rack barely opened. Our sink only had scalding hot water, and its loose faucet wouldn’t turn. It wasn’t filthy, but it didn’t feel clean either. Several times before our stay we called and got no answer. When we arrived, the front desk clerk was watching a show on her phone, though she was friendly once she finally let us into the lobby. The fire alarm went off repeatedly for no apparent reason, and the elevator only worked every other time we needed it. Parking is $50 a day. This might suit people in their early twenties who want to pack four into a room to save money and be near nightlife. Don’t trust the photos to show you what the rooms are really like.

The Nachos were amazing, full of flavor, and the lunch atmosphere was nice. The service was a little slow, but worth the wait. I had the fish entree of the day, grilled and well seasoned, with a generous bowl of rice. The broccoli was unchained and amazing too.

Michelle made the weekend for me. I arrived before check-in for ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL weekend, March 26-30, and she was sweet and kind right from the moment I walked in. She let me check in early, so I could drop off my things and head downstairs to enjoy the event at the bar. Everyone was accommodating and nice, and I don’t think I’ve had such a great experience at another Miami hotel. Each day Michelle greeted me with so much energy and a smile. It felt like she was my new best friend for the weekend. I can’t say enough good things about her. I’d definitely recommend staying here, and can’t wait to come back and see Michelle! 💜🙏🏻😘

We could walk to everything we wanted to do, and really liked the beach chairs. Michelle at the desk made our vacation with her upbeat, accommodating service. Thanks, Michelle!
