Crystal Beach Suites Miami Oceanfront Hotel

The housekeepers are lovely, super kind, diligent, and attentive when anything needs replacing. If you really need something fixed or replaced during your stay, I’m sure you could get it sorted out. The room itself was just meh, somewhere to sleep, nothing special. The kitchen burners worked about half the time, the toaster isn’t grounded so we had to unplug it before touching it, and the fridge froze our produce. The shower only got hot at night, while during the day it was lukewarm at best. Not bad, not good. Housekeeping are angels.

The sunrise is stunning. The beach is about a one-minute walk from the hotel, and I’d strongly recommend heading to the shoreline to watch it. I picked this place for the price and location. It’s right in front of the ocean, and Publix is within walking distance. There’s no parking on site, but a spacious public lot is just a 3-minute walk away, so it wasn’t an issue. I recommend downloading ParkMobile before your stay. An ocean-view room gives you a beautiful sea view. I was on the 2nd floor and could just barely see the horizon, so if you book one, I highly recommend requesting the 3rd floor or above in advance.

We only stayed a couple of nights. The kitchenette was handy and stocked with utensils and kitchenware, and we used both the sofa couch and main bed. The rooms were as described. It’s right off the beach, with food and the free trolley within walking distance. The main issue was how much sound came through the room. Every hallway conversation was clear as day.

The suite was infested with roaches when I checked in Friday 2/13/2026. I told the front desk, and they said every room was booked, so they couldn’t move me. They offered to refund my $1041.00, and I agreed to stay until today, 2/15/2026. After I checked out, they refunded just $56, saying it was a resort accommodation. I’ll be speaking with my lawyer. The woman at the front desk this morning was rude, didn’t try to help, and disconnected our call. Update: She asked if I wanted them to fumigate the suite. I said no because I didn’t want to leave with their roaches in my luggage. Then the property manager, I assume, called and ran circles around the issue. He claimed he’d been on duty at the time, but when I asked to speak with the manager, the rude woman said he wasn’t there. Now he says he was there and heard the whole conversation during the interaction on Saturday. This place is a whole joke and needs to be shut down until they get this under control. He thinks it’s over because they refunded a $56 resort fee, when I paid $1041 for the weekend.
