The rooms are lovely and a good size. My only issue was the very flat pillows, so next time I’ll ask for better ones.

I loved being right above the outdoor bar stage, where I could hear music all day and night, and above the pool, where I could see my beautiful girlfriend from the room. There was also a distant ocean view, with good bars and restaurants nearby. Everyone was helpful, the breakfast buffet was great, and the daily bike rentals and beach chairs were free. One of the best vacation stays I’ve had. I’ll stay here whenever I’m in Miami.

The service was below standard, and the prices were high. The food was so poor that fast food might be better. The alcoholic drink we were offered didn’t contain alcohol. I wouldn’t recommend staying or dining here, and the standard American food was far too expensive.

This is about Edison Restaurant. We ordered two regular drinks and two hookahs, then were charged $281. The drinks the waitress brought were different from what we ordered, in huge glasses full of ice and juice with only a little alcohol. Nobody warned us they cost more. Other nearby terraces were offering the same drinks two for the price of one, but at EDISON we later learned these were $40 each. The bill included a $50 tip and showed only the total, with no itemized charges. My friend, who is a foreigner and unfamiliar with prices here, paid while I was in the restroom, trying to return a kind gesture I’d made earlier that day. We went back the next day to raise the issue with management. Assistant manager MANI said, “you should’ve paid attention to the prices last evening, I can’t help you today!!” That was zero customer service. I felt they were ripping customers off and treating them accordingly. This place is a ripoff. If I’d known how they operated, I would have stayed away. Never going back.
