Global Luxury Suites at Monte Carlo

The rooms were extremely basic, with almost nothing in them, and I've stayed at better motels nearby. We paid about $700 for four nights of “luxury” back in February, and the stay was terrible. There were bugs, the staff were rude and unwilling to accommodate us, and the listings were misleading. They deleted my first review, which is hilarious, and still have a 3.2 rating. Go somewhere else, I beg you lol.

Room 608 was infested with roaches, big and small, in both the kitchen and living room. We asked to switch rooms, but they refused, even after we showed videos and photos of the ongoing problem. They made no effort to move us. I paid $500 a night for a “luxury suite,” but it felt like a one-star motel room inside a nice building, lipstick on a pig. I asked for a full refund and was turned down. In a situation like that, I would have expected at least a credit or partial refund, but got nothing. It was four days of hell. Beware of this property, Global Luxury Suites at the Monte Carlo in Miami Beach. They were inhuman and the listings are very misleading.

The ocean view was stunning, and the spacious layout was a real plus. But the room itself let us down: the floor was freezing, so bring slippers, and the cleanliness wasn't good. The dishes were dirty and the sofa was broken. The service also fell short of what I expected. I'm giving three stars for the view and location.

My wife, daughter, and I stayed four nights in a one-bedroom suite with a kitchen. The pool and beach were both enjoyable, and we liked the landscaping around the property. The staff were friendly and helpful, and valet parking made coming and going quick and convenient. Our room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and my daughter slept well on the sofa bed. My wife and daughter could also work remotely in the suite thanks to the fast Wi-Fi. We'd gladly recommend the place and come back.
