Trouvail Miami Beach Hotel

We had a rental car for the weekend, and parking came to about $110 for two nights, Saturday to Sunday. We checked out Monday. Splitting the cost made it manageable, though I think $20-$30 a night would be more reasonable. The beach and a café down the street were both an easy walk. We didn't get to try the hotel food, which we'll have to do next time. My cousin and I came for the Miami Grand Prix and really liked this fun, chic hotel. Check-in was easy, and the unusual system for retrieving the room key involved entering a code. Our room was spacious and clean, the bed was comfortable, and getting extra towels and an iron was no trouble. Allon (or Allan, sorry if I spelled his name wrong) was very kind and helpful. The woman working the night shift was wonderful too, and helped us with parking. They were both very personable and made the stay great. I'd recommend the hotel.

The beach is just steps away, and the hotel itself is beautifully designed and full of charm. I stayed with my husband and two kids, and we had a great time. The staff were kind and helpful, and we liked the pool's welcoming feel and its comfortable lounge chairs. Even the small touches stood out, like bath towels that felt brand new. Complimentary morning coffee was another nice perk. We'd happily stay again.

The room layout worked well, with good cable, a nice phone and internet, an average bed, a decent closet, a small microwave, and a big fridge. The sink was huge, almost big enough to bathe a dog in. The couch was scuzzy, so avoid it. Hand towels for shower use seemed odd, so bring pillowcases and towels. A clipboard had instructions and warnings about smoking, including a major fine if caught. Check-in felt like a scavenger hunt for one key. You have to hold the card to the scanner or the door won't click. The elevator is European-sized and has a strange smell. It's busy one way, and they drive really fast on Indian, so watch out. Swimming access at Collins Canal across the street is easy. I'd sign up to stay again.

Having parking at the hotel made our weekend easier, and the location was hard to beat, about a three-minute walk to the beach and close to everything. We also liked the relaxed pool area, with shade and plenty of loungers, plus the outdoor terrace for drinks at night and a really good restaurant inside. I came for the weekend with four friends, and we had an awesome time. The renovated Art Deco lobby looks great, and the hotel has a fresh, modern feel. Our rooms were spotless, quiet for South Beach, and very comfortable. We all slept well. The big fridge was useful for drinks and snacks, and the spacious bathroom had solid shower pressure. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Shoutout to Sagar and the front desk team for being welcoming and easygoing from the start. For the price, it was amazing value for our group. We'd absolutely come back and recommend it for a fun South Beach weekend.
