Hyatt Centric South Beach Miami

My room faced another building instead of the street, so it was incredibly quiet. I'm a light sleeper, and it's one of the quietest rooms I've had in a long time. The room looked recently renovated, modern and nice, and the staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel isn't right on the beach, but it's just a block away, and their partnership with Loews hotel lets guests use its beach chairs and towels. I'd stay here again. Five stars.

This is our favorite Miami Beach hotel. The rates are reasonable, the location is great, and the room was clean and quiet. The staff are very friendly. We needed to stay an extra day because of an unexpected situation, and Frantz at the front desk went to a lot of extra effort to cancel our other Hyatt hotel and find us a room here. That meant we didn't have to move around. He was a lifesaver.

We had to pay $30 ourselves for beach loungers and chairs, even after paying resort fees that supposedly covered them. Housekeeping also asked us to leave two hours before checkout. The valet told us to wait when we arrived because there wasn't enough ramp space, and check-in was slow. The person at the desk seemed annoyed by our questions about amenities and was texting employees for updates while processing guest requests, which felt unprofessional. The room was clean and nice, with a great view, though the outside of the floor-to-ceiling windows was dirty. Neither the TV nor the in-suite phone worked, and there were no ice machines on the floors, so we had to go down to the lobby. Save your money and stay at the Loews across the street.

The views were amazing, and our room was clean, modern, and comfortable. The hotel is about five minutes from the beach, and our rate included breakfast, towels, and two beach beds. There was also a coffee machine and bottled water in the room. Staff were polite and attentive. Stores, pharmacies, restaurants, and main roads are all close, with plenty of places to walk around. I'd recommend it if you're in Maiami.
