Lombardy Inn on Miami Beach

Being right across from the beach made things so easy with our two little ones, and I felt safe and relaxed throughout the stay. The staff were attentive and professional, always happy to answer questions or suggest places to eat and things to do. Our room was clean and roomy, and the location puts you among great restaurants and shops. Lombardy Inn covered everything our family needed for vacation and ended up exceeding my expectations. I’d happily recommend it.

The beach across the road was full of feral cats when we went over that night, and the lobby smelled strongly of chlorine even though there wasn’t a pool. Then my son got sick all over the room, but we were refused extra towels because the rule was one per room. The bed sagged badly on one side, leaving my daughter practically sleeping in a dip. Light from the dog park next door made our room seem like it was 5 AM in the evening. We came for a family trip in 2019, and the whole stay felt like a scene from The Shining. A horrible place. Run away.

The halls were sandy and stained, and the whole place had an unpleasant smell. Our room, 329, was filthy too: urine around the toilet rim, a poop stain, toilet paper in the bin, hair on the pillowcases, and sheets that looked used and smelled of body odor. This hotel is run down and disgusting. I canceled our reservation and went somewhere else. Save your money and time.

The room looked nothing like the online photos, smelled of smoke, and had a spider. I wasn’t expecting anything fancy, but the place just felt gross. At the desk, the woman couldn’t keep a conversation going and seemed unsure what was happening. My partner and I took the loss and left for another hotel. We ended up at Best Western Plus, where the hotel and hospitality were phenomenal.
