South Beach VIP Design Apartment

The room was clean and had everything we needed. I do wish they’d replace the bed, which sits too low and feels much too soft, and the pillows, which are so thin they made my back hurt.

I went with a friend who had stayed here before and loved it, but I wasn’t impressed. The condo was nice, just very bare bones. It hadn’t been restocked for the next guest with basics like a sharp knife, can or bottle opener, or salt and pepper shakers. There was no welcome note explaining the TVs or basic rules and courtesies. The pool and the walkway around it didn’t look clean. A few inexpensive additions could make this feel like a four star place.

The studio worked perfectly for a quick getaway. There’s a convenience store on the corner, restaurants all around, and the Tex Mex across the street is so good. The location is hard to beat. And if you don’t feel like crossing the street, there’s a fabulous private pool.

Do not rent apartments 201 or 208 from Gleb. There were roaches in my room, the toilet and microwave were broken, the resort fee had been paid, and the rooms still weren’t clean. We had to clean them ourselves. There was no TV in the living room, the pullout sofa had an air mattress with no pump, and there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher. Gleb and his manager were nasty and disrespectful when speaking to people. They hadn’t even changed the sheets for the next guest after me. I’ll never stay there again or recommend it to anyone. Don’t rent from Gleb.
