Sonesta Select Miami Lakes

When our flights back to New York were canceled unexpectedly because of a blizzard, Sergio and Alexa made a stressful situation much easier. Sergio listened while we were dealing with the airlines and brought crackers because he knew we hadn’t eaten. Alexa patiently worked to arrange extra nights for our unexpected extended stay. Earlier, Sergio had made sure sheets and pillows arrived for the sofa bed, then arranged a room with two double beds and a lovely pool view as soon as one opened up. He’d also arranged housekeeping in advance for our five-day stay and recommended local restaurants, including Latin American Grill, which we enjoyed. The staff were kind throughout, from the breakfast team to the evening staff who gave us complimentary tea, honey, and extra cups, and the housekeeping team who brought fresh towels with a smile each morning. The property felt spotless and safe, and was beautifully maintained. The pool was immaculate and relaxing, and parking was free. Shops, restaurants, and a Winn Dixie were all an easy walk away. Our stay at Sonesta Miami Lakes Hotel was a five-star experience. The hotel is beautiful, and Manager Sergio welcomed us warmly and made sure we felt at home. We’d return in a heartbeat and recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The warmth and genuine hospitality made a difficult travel situation much easier and gave us a memorable stay.
