Quality Inn & Suites Monticello

The cleanliness was awful. There was a nasty looking white residue on the chair, what looked like bodily fluids on the bathroom door, and hair left in the shower and tub. The shower knob had green and black mold, and I also saw what looked like blood on the ironing board and hangers. I’m usually pretty reasonable, but when I brought up how dirty my room and the other rooms in our group were, the managers acted like I was making it up or like it barely mattered. Before 8, they were banging on every door and calling out “housekeeping.” Seriously, what housekeeping? I’d sleep in my car before staying here.

I was in room 301 on 9-18-25 and paid $80 as a Wyndham member. I’d stayed once before. It was decent, though not ideal. The room was mostly clean and a decent size, with no bugs and a firm bed. TV channels were okay, Wi-Fi kept going on and off, and the AC worked well enough, but was a bit loud.

I slept comfortably and had no trouble getting rest. The sheets, mattress, and pillows were surprisingly high quality. Staff were helpful and very cordial. I also saw they’re renovating more rooms, and the ones I saw looked nicely done, so I’d ask for one of those.

The staff were very friendly, and breakfast was good. The rooms were dirty, though, and there was mold in the bathroom. Metal flashing around the bed bases made a loud noise whenever you moved at night.
