Dave's Last Resort - Poolside Cabin 4 1 Bedroom Hotel Room

We spent a week at Dave's Last Resort with our family, and it was one of our best vacations. Dave welcomed us and went out of his way to make sure we had what we needed. Our cozy unit was on the lakefront with a beautiful view, and the private waterfront nooks were peaceful places to read, relax, or enjoy the quiet. The kids loved the pool, and Indiana Beach Amusement Park was a short walk away. We also loved having BBQ grills for family dinners under the stars and a fire pit for roasting marshmallows and telling stories. Bikes and a tandem kayak were available, so we could have a bit of adventure without leaving the resort. It’s a lovely mix of comfort, hospitality, and natural beauty. We left with great memories and all agreed we’d return next summer. Whether you want adventure or some peace and quiet, there’s something here for everyone. A real gem for getting away from the daily rush and spending time in nature with loved ones.

We come to Monticello about once a year, and this was the cleanest and nicest place we’ve stayed. Dave was super nice, and the room was cute and clean. My family ranged in age from 9 to 95, and every one of us had a great time. My grandma and the kids swam in the pool while my mom and husband fished. I’d totally recommend Dave’s Last Resort, and we’ll definitely be back. Thanks, Dave, for making our mini vacation so good.
