The inn has a lovely atmosphere, and the staff were genuinely friendly. Breakfast was tasty too, especially the little sausage casserole. But the room quality let it down: the shower was in rough shape, the toilet seat needed fixing, and surfaces like the lamps and space under the bed were pretty dusty. The rooms could use an update.

The town was cute, and the breakfast was great. We also had a spacious room, lovely linens, a comfortable bed, and a friendly owner. The property itself is beautiful and clearly well cared for. We’re pretty picky and have stayed in some amazing places, but we’ll remember this one. We stayed a night, would happily return, and would recommend it.

Pat made sure we were comfortable and was a gracious, attentive host. Breakfast was generous and tasty, too. We were here for the Dirty Pecan gravel ride, and the B&B was handy for the starting point, with an easy walk into the town center for shopping and dinner. Loved the historic home and its old-world charm.

I was excited to stay in the Victorian mansion because, a long time ago, I lived in a little house behind it when I was two to four. I still remember some of the place, and really enjoyed being back. Pat Inmon has done a wonderful job bringing the mansion back to its former beauty. The rooms have modern conveniences but still feel warm and true to the 19th century. My bed was comfortable, the ensuite bathroom was fine, and the shower was modern. Even the toilet paper was high-end. Pat made a delicious breakfast, and I definitely ate too much. I’ll stay here again when I’m in Monticello.

The area was nice and quiet, and felt very secure. We had a comfortable, very nice room, and Pat was a wonderful host. As a history buff, I really appreciated the amazing tour of the house. Breakfast was really good, with some homemade treats. We had a great weekend. Thanks, Pat, for a wonderful stay.
