We paid in full when we booked this hostel in September 2025, but when we arrived, Mr. James at the property told us it was full. He seemed drunk or zoned out, was very rude, and told us to leave. MMT tried contacting the owner, Mr. Alan, and kept asking us to approach Mr. James again. We didn't feel safe doing that because of his behavior. We asked MMT for a refund. Please don't book FLiXBed The Latinx hostel or Miami hostel in Miami, Florida. Both properties belong to the same owner.

I was quoted $100 a week over the phone. When I got there, someone attended to me, though I don't know who it was and didn't even get a chance to ask for Mr. James. They wanted to charge me $170 a week instead, which made me uncomfortable, so I called an Uber to leave. The driver told me it was a bad area where police hardly ever go, and that it was also a conflict zone with drug dealers, shootings, and similar problems.

I have a reservation for a night during a layover, but I don't know whether they have somewhere to store luggage.
