The staff were the best part of my four-night stay for a family event. The valets Eduardo, Lina, and Marco, Cindy who checked me in, the maintenance staff, and especially diner staff Cecilia, Eder, and Kati were all really nice and welcoming. Thanks to everyone for the excellent service. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioner worked perfectly, though it was noisy. The room itself was frustrating in a few ways. It took help from maintenance, who came almost immediately, to turn on all six lamps with their hard-to-find switches, and even then the lighting was poor. There was no desk, so I worked at a nightstand. The toilet seat was extremely low for me, the toilet paper was very thin single ply, and the shower stall got slippery with soap.

We stay at Hilton properties a lot because of my husband's travel and status, and have seen good and bad across their different hotels. Here, the staff were friendly, the location was handy for a cruise, and breakfast was good. But we found a pair of socks made into one of the beds after midnight, just as we were ready to sleep. It made me question how clean everything else was. The bathroom ceiling had an issue too, and the water pressure was almost nonexistent. We only had three bath towels and two hand towels, with no washcloths. The carpet looked grungy, wasn't attached properly, and made it hard to roll luggage across.

Breakfast was a bit mediocre for $18 plus tax, they could offer more. Kati, the host, was amazing and went out of her way to help; the whole team was very hospitable, and the manager was professional. The rooms were clean and the bathroom had lots of amenities. My stay at Hilton Garden Hill was okay, and I'd come back.
