The pool was my favorite part, so peaceful and beautiful, and the location put us right in the middle of everything. The master bedroom also had lovely views from both corners. I'd stay again and would like to try the other Miami Beach location. The place fit all my guests, which was great, but it seemed dusty. The tables, kitchen counter, and bathroom surfaces didn't look thoroughly cleaned. There were two large patched spots on the master bathroom wall that looked repaired but unfinished, and the balcony was smaller than I expected.

The rooms were beautiful, but the way the staff treated us left me feeling that they had a different agenda toward people of color. There were parties on two nearby floors, yet my group and I were the only ones accused of causing trouble. A Spanish-speaking woman, whose name I can't remember, kept bothering us. I heard her tell one of the guards who repeatedly came into our room, in Spanish, “watch them you know what they do.” At least two men entered our room without warning every day, and when we asked why, nobody gave us an answer. On top of that, I was charged twice for the security deposit and never got it back. That's only some of what my party dealt with. The hotel itself was wonderful, but the staff experience was the opposite.
