Housekeeping does a great job, the place was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. There's good parking, lots of food options nearby, and a nice spot to hang out out back. The young man at the front was VERY helpful, thanks to him. But there's no pool, and I wouldn't have stayed if I'd noticed that. I'm not from Florida, but this place feels cheap to me and should cost $85-100 a night at most. It needs someone handy and some money put into it.

I needed a room at the last minute and wasn't sure what to expect. They checked me in smoothly and on time, without leaving me waiting. The room was just as promised, simple and nothing fancy, but it worked fine for an overnight stay with no surprises.

I picked this hotel for its airport location and because it accepted pets. It was my first time staying in a hotel with my little Chihuahua. At check-in, the staff gave me my keys, and when I mentioned the dog, they just said, "Okay." I asked about the fee. The young man said it was a one-time $25, and when I checked again because I'd previously been told over the phone it was $25 per night, he insisted it was $25 total. The next day I went out and left my dog in the room with the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door so housekeeping wouldn't enter. When I came back, my keys had been deactivated. I told the front desk what happened, but a very rude man wouldn't hear me out. He reactivated the keys and told me to speak with the manager the next day because he knew nothing about it. The next morning, a young woman, the only friendly person in this whole ordeal, came to my room. She said that if I hadn't officially declared the dog, I'd need to go to the front desk, since pets aren't allowed on the second floor and they might move me. At the desk, a woman with a horrible attitude treated me as if I'd done something wrong and tried to hide my dog. She said I'd have to pay $150 for every day the dog stayed. I explained that I had told them about the dog, but she kept treating me like a liar. I paid what was required and signed a pet form. She stayed annoyed and demanded to know why I'd left the dog alone in the room. While I was standing there paying, someone called via satellite phone and ordered them to enter my room to make sure everything was in order, as if I were a criminal. The intrusion wasn't even the worst part. Nobody asked permission or explained anything, and the attitude was awful. Housekeeping was fine, but I felt so mistreated that I seriously considered changing hotels. I'd already paid for all six nights, though, and switching would have been too complicated, so I felt stuck. The hotel needs to replace staff who lack basic decency. The front desk clearly doesn't know the policies, then turns around and accuses guests of lying.

They seem to be trying to improve the place, and some areas looked pretty good. Still, the bathroom needs a new door, and the tub needs an abrasive lining because it's the slickest surface I've ever stepped on. The staff was amazing. Lydia and the young man who checked us in were AMAZING!

This was a simple, decent stay at Signature Inn Miami for a short trip. Check-in was easy and the staff were polite, though we had little interaction. Everything worked, and I didn't run into any problems. It's not somewhere to expect much extra service or luxury. The area felt quiet and mostly commercial, with little to do on foot. Still, the location near the airport made arriving and leaving easy. The room was basic and clean enough, with what you'd expect for a quick stay. For a night or two, it's a practical, affordable option if convenience matters more than anything fancy.
