One Broadway by Miami Vacations

The gym is spacious, with a decent range of equipment, and I liked the outdoor pool on the ninth floor. The bed was fine and I slept reasonably well. Shower pressure was okay, but the water never got close to the steaming hot shower I wanted. A lot of the stay didn't work for me. There was almost nowhere to store anything in the bathroom, and no towel hooks, so we had to put things on the floor and improvise places to hang towels. The hard tile throughout felt very cold, and I kept my socks on. Maybe that’s just Miami, but the stark white floors, walls, and most of the furniture also weren’t to my taste. For some reason, I was assigned a parking spot on the seventh floor even though I passed plenty of empty spaces going up, at a time when most guests were probably in their rooms. I didn’t care for the place overall. Next time, we’ll definitely choose a hotel.

The staff were courteous and professional, and the location was great. Our apartment was modern, clean, roomy, and had a fabulous view. It also had all the facilities we could imagine, plus more. Thank you. We’d gladly stay here again and again.

The location is really nice, and there’s free local high train nearby, as well as free parking in the hotel garage. It’s a safe building with lots of surveillance. The ninth floor has a pool and a nice fitness room, and the rooms are clean and pleasant. I’d normally give a hotel like this four or five stars, but our room was right beside one of the four elevators, and we could clearly hear the machinery through the wall. The large kitchen was missing so many utensils that we couldn’t really use it. It’s about a 25-minute drive to a really nice beach. I’d still recommend the hotel, provided you don’t end up next to the elevator.

The outside scenery was about the only thing I felt I got value from. The hotel’s hospitality left me disgusted. Customer service was poor and unapologetically rude, and there was no housekeeping. Insects and rodents came in from outside and got into the cabinets, bedrooms, refrigerators, and even my belongings. Each bathroom had just one large drying towel and one face towel. When I asked for more, I was told to wash what I already had. The beds felt fragile, almost like cardboard, and a gentle sit on mine made it break down. The blankets were paper thin, and they gave us three cover-up blankets to make up for the missing comforters. The walls and floors had foul cigarette smells and other odors that bothered my nose. I can’t fathom how uncomfortable this stay was. I’m still unhappy with it, and I have no intention of publicly disgracing the property. I’m using this platform to strongly advise people not to book this room. Being robbed at gunpoint couldn’t have matched how disgusted I felt with the poor hospitality.
