TownePlace Suites by Marriott Miami Airport

The room was clean, and the food at the hotel was good. The location near the airport worked well, but we waited more than two hours for our room to be ready and had to change our dinner plans to eat at the hotel. The manager knew what was going on. Better communication would've helped.

If you want space and convenience instead of a flashy lobby, this is a smart, comfortable, cost-efficient choice in Miami. It's a good way to avoid the overpriced hotel scene without giving up comfort. The rooms feel more like little apartments than standard hotel rooms, and ours had a full kitchen with a big fridge and even a dishwasher. That makes a real difference on longer stays or if you don't want to eat out every meal. I'd definitely stay again.

Breakfast was included, and the hotel-to-cruise shuttle was $14 per person. The better value was staying here instead of paying twice as much near the terminal. We arrived the day before our cruise, got our bags, and were on the free airport shuttle within ten minutes. The driver offered us water, which was a thoughtful touch after a long travel day. We’ll be back.

The breakfast choices were surprisingly good even though the spread looked small. Our room was clean and spacious, and having a kitchenette came in handy. Front desk staff were very helpful, and housekeeping was friendly too. A great place to stay near the Miami airport.
