The restaurant serves delicious food, and the waiters are friendly and professional. In the lobby, you can arrange a cruise-port shuttle and airport pickup through VIP & Tours, with very nice, professional drivers. The location is great, close to Bayside Market and convenient shopping. From the moment you enter the lobby, the front desk greets you with a smile and makes you feel welcome. Everything was clean, and the bed was comfortable. I love this Hotel.

The hotel’s restaurant and bar were pretty good, though pricey, and they were oddly out of ingredients for their specialty cocktails the whole time. Staff were very nice and helpful, which is why I’m giving one star. I booked a four-night solo trip and chose the “Bayview penthouse” for the location and the promise of views, room service, and a cozy room. The photos bore little resemblance to what I got. The room swung between humid and hot, then humid and freezing, with even a one-degree adjustment making it unbearably hot or cold. I asked for an extra blanket and preferred the cold. The constant humidity made me feel dirty. I was glad I brought my own toiletries: there was no hand soap, the body wash was empty, there were no bath cloths, and the shower head was corroded and uneven. The shower also had a notice that flushing a toilet on any floor would greatly affect water pressure and temperature. The penthouses are on the hotel’s 17th floor, served by only two slow elevators. With all the cruisers around, I used the stairs far more than I wanted. Even going down to collect delivery food took a full 30 minutes. Wi-Fi didn’t reach that high, and cable offered about 10 channels, with no Wi-Fi or streaming service that actually seemed to be provided. On my last night the TV stopped working altogether. There was no room service; the online claims were a complete facade. I might suggest it for a one-night stay if expectations are very low. The ownership takes your money without delivering even a quarter of the quality shown online. I felt catfished. What a waste of money. Do not stay here.

The rooms were comfortable, clean, and well kept, and the service made the whole stay easy. From arrival through checkout, the staff were friendly, attentive, and ready to help with requests. We felt welcome right away. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely return. Highly recommend it for a comfortable visit with great service.

We paid extra for a king bed and a view, but after check-in we found a room with two doubles. I’m a big guy who likes sharing a bed with his wife, which is why we chose the king. At the desk, they said no kings were available. When I explained we needed the extra space, the staff member claimed two doubles offered as much room as a king. I called that out, and he brought over the manager. The manager checked our email reservation, which clearly said king, then looked at the hotel’s system and insisted the email was wrong, not an error on their side. He offered to cancel if we didn’t want the room. The issue was their refusal to take responsibility: no apology or discount for the room we paid extra for, just a take-it-or-leave-it attitude. This was classic bait and switch. Their 3.5-star rating is about three stars higher than it should be. They should try to make guests happy and reimburse them when mistakes happen. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to a friend.
